Booking Policy
***** INTERNATIONAL DATE-LINE *****
Travelling to Rarotonga you will cross the International Date-line, so technically you will arrive before you depart from Australia or NZ. We strongly recommend you check your flight arrival date to ensure you book correct dates for accommodation.

PAYMENTS & BOOKINGS
All reservation requests are subject to confirmation.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking is required at time of booking. Your reservation will be confirmed by email once your deposit is paid. Balance payment is required at least 30 days prior to arrival.
Reservations made within 30 days of arrival are required to be paid in full at time of booking.
Any bank fees incurred with sending and/or incoming funds to the Cook Islands are at your expense (currently all Cook Islands banks charge approx $NZ$30 to receive funds into a local bank).
Payment can be made to our Bank of Cook Islands account here in Rarotonga, or ANZ bank account in Australia.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be emailed to info@ignitecookislands.com and you must ensure you receive our email acknowledging your request to cancel.
Your 25% deposit is non-refundable if you cancel after placing your reservation.
If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you will be charged the total price of booking.
Any refund will be subject to the deduction of any applicable bank fees charged by both overseas and Cook Islands banks.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance to cover any unexpected circumstances.
EARLY ARRIVAL & LATE DEPARTURE
CHECK-IN is at 2pm onwards and CHECK-OUT is 10am.
Please be aware many flights into/out of Rarotonga are early morning or late evening.
If you want access to cottage from 9am – 2pm an early check-in fee of $50.00 is payable, subject to availability at time of booking. If access is required earlier than 9am, you will need to pay an additional night to guarantee early check-in (subject to availability at time of booking).
If you would like a later departure between 10am – 6pm, a late check-out fee of $50.00 is payable, subject to availability. For a departure after 6pm you will need to pay an additional night to guarantee late check-out (subject to availability).
PREBOOK TOURS, EXPERIENCES & RESTAURANTS
We strongly recommend prebooking the above to avoid disappointment.
DAMAGE & REPLACEMENT KEY FEE
Please note any damage will incur applicable repair/replacement fee. A lost/damaged key will incur $200 replacement fee as these keys cannot be cut in Rarotonga.
